ILLAMASQUA COMPLEMENT PALETTE

Sale shopping is always fun, and when you can sale shop make-up it is even funner. Last year I discovered Illamasqua's Christmas sale and oh boy is it a gooden' Lipsticks at £5 Blushes at £10, and not too strange colours either! This year I picked up this beautiful palette (The Complement Palette) and felt so impressed I thought I'd do a small review.

Firstly the colours are very pigmented which I would expect from a MUA brand like Illasmasqua. I liked to apply the bronze cream shade all over the lid which makes the colours last all day and not crease, which is very handy when travelling as I don't have to separately pack my beloved Maybelline Colour Tattoos. Another aspect of the shadows I love is the lack of fall down that you get from them, this is such a good feature especially when doing a heavy dark eye, they hardly budge once you have them on and aren't chalky to apply. Finally the thing that attracted me to the palette were the colours I think that it is very hard to come across a palette where every colour is wearable, but I can honestly say that I use every colour from this palette. I love the deep purple smokey eye that you can create and find it very weather appropriate at the moment, although if you want a wash of colour in spring then this is all a possibility!

What eyeshadows are you loving at the moment?
